Barry
Batson
President
Barry Batson's
13-year career in sales, marketing, and business development has
included a diversified portfolio of general management in both wholesale
and retail markets. As vice president of sales and marketing at
Aldon Industries - a subsidiary of The Moore Company, Barry was
instrumental in directing and managing multi-million dollar projects
that led to over 900% revenue growth in just under seven years.
During that time he was selected as a member of the Strathmore Who's
Who of Business Leaders in 1995/96 and was recruited by Myco to
expand their national dealer base and to lead their company into
the original equipment market.
Barry later
joined America Holdings Corp., a nationwide property management
firm, where he was responsible for all phases of property management,
including tenant negotiations, retail and wholesale financing, sales,
marketing, and advertising. Barry returned to his home city of Bradenton,
FL as Vice President of Corporate Development for ClearAccess Communications,
a firm providing regional communication systems and business network
solutions, including high-speed wireless Internet connectivity and
web design and marketing.
Barry is a 1988
graduate of The University of Charleston, where he earned a B.A.
degree in Communications. In 1988, he represented UC in the Who's
Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and graduated
with Honors. While at UC, Barry received the Ted Turner Fellowship
Award in both 1987 and 1988 and student-produced the University's
promotional video - "Path of Excellence" in 1988. During
the same year, Barry produced "University Report", a thirty
minute weekly news report airing on a local PBS broadcast. In 1994,
while working full time, Barry studied Business Management at the
Owen Graduate School of Business, Vanderbilt University.
